Guest amd20
Hi, As niether Kaplan nor Princetown offer prep courses in my city, I was considering taking Kaplan's online course. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Is it worth $800? Thanks, amd20
Guest LaGriega
Be sure to find out exactly what is provided, and what type and speed of internet connection is required (e.g. a 56K modem may be completely impractical). Look at the sample materials and decide whether you like them; are they high quality, or are they simply textbook stuff dressed up as online materials, with no interactive resources? Also, remember that since the MCAT is a written test, you should be doing your practice tests as pencil-and -paper instead of online. Find out whether you can print out the practice tests, and how the scoring works.
