Guest Angelussum
If I wrote the MCAT after first year, will I still be able to use those test results to apply for med school entrance right after I graduate (assuming a four year degree)? Guest NurseEpi
Hi there, As far as I know, most medical schools will consider MCAT scores as long as the exam was written in the last 5 years. So I would think that if you wrote the MCAT now in 1st year, your scores would still be valid when you make your application in 4th year. Most of the schools will post in their "application guidelines" the rules for submitting MCAT results. Hope this helps, NurseEpi
Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, Another couple of things to consider are: 1) if you're interested in applying to any US schools, quite often their "stale dates" are a little earlier than those of Canadian schools, i.e., your scores may only be valid for 2 or 3 years; 2) policies can change. Cheers, Kirsteen
