equus
The "Eligibility Requirements" section of the University of Ottawa Admissions website for the MD program states that "Second language courses are not recognized towards the Humanities or Social Sciences prerequisites." So obviously I can't use my French courses towards this requirement. I have a non-specific History transfer credit from IB. Would this count? Does the University of Ottawa recognize IB transfer credits?
eugenius
i think history is part of social science so it should count. it also depends on what score u got in the IB course, so u should def ask them about this. then they may also ask for ur IB transcript. equus
I emailed Admissions, and they told me that only courses actually taken in university will count. Which means my IB transfer credits won't count toward this prerequisite! I'll have to take psych during the summer or something...
