Waitlist and LiM

Recommended Posts

Can you get in to the LiM program if you get accepted off of the waitlist? I know you can't defer in the traditional sense, but I *thought* that the criteria were different for LiM? Wondering is anyone has any experience here.

I'd be incredibly shocked if you couldn't join LiM and defer through that program. I have no direct experience but I know the LiM director and he's a reasonable guy, even if it required flexing the rules slightly I'm pretty sure Dr. Beck would make things work for ya.

As long as you are in a graduate program currently or were accepted to one as well as med (off the waitlist doesn't matter) then you will be able to be in the LiM program and once a member you will be able to chose how you want to build your program, including which med class you will start with.
