nightsky
Hi i've been studying with TPR bio book and i find that it has way too much unnecessary details... would anyone recommend me a study book that you liked for MCAT bio prep?! (i've done DAT and surprisingly AP bio book was pretty good.. wondering if there would be some book that i haven't thought about that would work well for this mcat prep) thanks
*HopefulMD
Kaplan's is much less material than TPR. But I loved TPRs. They went into just enough detail and information as I thought was needed for the MCAT. You seriously dont want to get screwed by a free standing question that is somewhere in the book but you just didn't memorize/read. Do that a few times and that'll make or break a score. medhopeful64
Examkrackers!!!! They give you only the info you need, nothing more. Try it, and if you need a more in-depth explanation - go back to your TPR book and read up on that particular topic. Try using EK as your main resource, and supplement with TPR as necessary
