99Problems
I would ask Dalhousie Uni but they're closed for X-mas... On their website it says you have to meet a minimum of 30 overall and 10 in each section. No mention of the writing sample. Do they care at all about the WS? Thanks. psqu
At one point (source: this forum) bonus points were awarded for having >= R on the writing sample. I don't think there is a minimum, I know someone who got in with an N.

Don't think they care at all, and I'm pretty sure that doc2b mentioned they no longer award a bonus point for a high WS mark.
99Problems
It's good to hear they don't care, seeing as how I got an M. Also, rather than to start a new thread, does anybody know if Dal just uses the numerical scores for a cutoff (like Toronto) or if they actually consider how well you did? ie. The higher the MCAT score, the stronger your application. Thanks, have a good new year everybody.
psqu
The MCAT is worth 10 points (out of 100) in your application. Anything above a 34 counts as 10/10. So yes, the higher your MCAT score, the stronger your application, but not by that much.
hemogoblin
Might be 35 for a perfect 10. Not sure though. There was some confusion last year.
99Problems
Thanks guys. I just wished Canada cared more about your MCAT score, as the numerical section is not the section I'm worried about at all. Cheers.
