kinesiology_girl
Last semester I took 4 courses at Dalhousie and 2 online courses through a college back in BC called North Island College. Dalhousie has accepted them as credit towards my degree and they are now on my transcripts. Is there any chance that Dal Med admissions might not accept these 2 online courses? I know they like to know you took 5 full courses, but I actually took 6 and would hate for them to say it doesn't count. Perhaps I am being paranoid. Does anyone have any feedback about online courses?
MaeFleur
I think you'll be okay if they are on your transcript. If once you apply you are nervous you can email Dal to make sure they understand. If you get an interview you'll know that it's all peachy. If not, you might want to follow-up, especially if you're IP and you meet all the other requirements.
kinesiology_girl
Thanks Maefleur. I phoned Dal Med Admissions today and they said it would be fine. The only thing that sucks is that I thought it would just be a pass or fail mark on my transcript but apparently they want the numerical grade. I didn't try as hard as I should have! Ooops!
