GlobaLinks Learning Abroad and Sydney Medical School are working together to facilitate the application process for North American students. You can apply now on the GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Degrees Overseas website. Program Overview A total of 310 students are admitted into the Sydney Medical School each year, including 80 international students Program Length: 4 years Program commencement: February 2013 Cost: $60,960 AUD annual tuition Entry Requirements GPA: 2.7/4.0 or a 70% average and Bachelor’s degree in any field MCAT Minimum MCAT score of 24M with an 8 in each category Must have taken it within the last 2 years MCAT must be complete prior to applying, as the MCAT results are a required part of the application. Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) International applicants who meet the minimum GPA requirement and the minimum MCAT cut-off may be invited for an interview. Starting for the 2013 intake, Sydney will now be ranking applicants based on their MCAT scores to determine who gets an offer of interview. Students will be notified by mid-July, via email, if they have an offer for an interview Interviews will be conducted via Skype. Overall selection will be based on the following: a. Academic record/GPA b. MCAT results c. Multi mini interview (MMI) results d. Applicants will then be ranked on the basis of their MCAT performance (50%) and their MMI performance (50%) How to Apply Interested students should apply via the GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Degrees Overseas website.
