nickster67
I am a bit confused about Case Western. They have the College Program and the University Program. What is the difference, which one do I apply to?
North12
CP - 5 years with one year of research, tuition free, really small (30 people), most rotations at the cleveland clinic UP - Normal 4 year program, expensive tuition, 170ish people, most rotations at the "university hospitals" Both are very PBL heavy. I recommend applying to both. The CP requires an extra essay but for the possibility of free tuition and the cleveland clinic, I would say its worth the extra effort. nickster67
Thanks a lot. Do you get the same MD degree at the end?
saukalra
Thanks a lot. Do you get the same MD degree at the end? Yes, you get the same MD degree in both programs. However, I think you get a "MD with Special Qualification in Biomedical Research" degree in CP compared to just an "MD" in UP. There is a lot more time dedicated to research in CP compared to UP.
