Meez
Just call the financial aid office. At least that's how I got mine. If you've already sent in your deposit then you should be in the system.
NotNotHappy
Is that how everybody got their UCID? Seems weird that they don't tell you in an email or something. Thank you though! I will try calling financial aid office
NotNotHappy
I actually contacted med admissions and they said you won't be put in the system until they have the complete list which will be around mid July. So we won't be getting our UCID's until mid July.
mm88
Is anyone else having trouble with a Scotiabank student LOC? My branch is asking for a tuition invoice which we obviously can't get since we don't have UCIDs and can't get on myUofC.
lazyboy
Your letter of acceptance (email) and a deposit receipt are all you need to get the LOC going, at least that was how I got mine last year. If they ask for additional proof, you may be talking to the wrong person in your bank.

The person has "Professional Student Line of Credit Advisor" over their door and "professional relations" on their card. I even forwarded them April's exact email. They still said "no". Can't release funds for reasons other than paying tuition before they get proof of enrolment in the form of a tuition receipt. So apparently I don't need to eat or cloth myself... Needless to say, I ain't ever going back!
proteinaceous
Head on over to RBC. They're much more realistic. All I needed was a quick general letter from the secretary at the admissions office that stated that I paid my deposit.
mdp
Hey, it's odd that they asked you for that. It may just be your branch. I got my LOC from Scotiabank (my consultant is awesome), and all I needed to give them was the acceptance letter (from my email)!
Tiz
Scotia was great for me too. Awesome set up. Its all been approved, but I won't get my funds until she sees that I have actually registered in classes.
mdp
I guess I just got lucky with my branch/consultant because I already have access to my funds too!
