The material itself is actually quite interesting, learning about malnutrition, vitamin and nutrient deficiencies, effects on human development and economic factors etc etc. You also get to watch videos in class as "case studies" so it makes for a nice break from the notes. When I took it they didn't post the slides, so you did have to go to every class and take detailed notes (or get them off someone =D ). Exams I took were rote memorization, and there were quite a few little details here and there, so as long as you're good at memorizing this course is 90+able.
