Gizmo Posted July 3, 2012 Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 Hey Everyone, I'm just finishing up my AMCAS app and hoping to submit this week but I have a question regarding graduate school. Since you only have 15 spots I don't want to fill it up with publications and posters and things like that. So I made an activity called grad school where I just describe briefly my project, productivity (I mention posters and manuscripts) and what I got out of it (put it as a most meaningful). I also talk about grad school in my essay so would this be too redundant? Should I not make it a most meaningful or maybe take it out altogether? Also, I have one 5th author publication in a fairly high impact journal in my field, but is it even worth listing since its not a high authorship? Comments would be much appreciated! Slashsev Posted July 7, 2012 Report Share Posted July 7, 2012 i put like 3 sentances on grad school and how it helped me appreciate blah blah blah..lol i had several publications...and not too much space...and did not list grad under activites...but education history (or something like that) there is not wrong/right way... its only there to sell yourself..and which ever is the best way to do it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
