RobStark
So currently I have a 3.5 gpa and a 30 on the MCAT and average EC (research, hospital volunteering, tutoring, shadowing, intramural sport, student council), I am planning on rewriting the MCAT this summer. What MCAT score will i need to offset my low GPA, and when should i start applying for US schools? Thanks

RobStark
Thanks, my sGPA is higher than my cGPA, will this make any difference? also am I able to apply in June while waiting for my MCAT which i am writing in July or will they use my MCAT scores from the previous year
demerp
You will, but schools will most likely wait until they receive your new MCAT scores before reviewing your file, which in your case would be in August. It'll take away your advantage of applying early Thanks, my sGPA is higher than my cGPA, will this make any difference? also am I able to apply in June while waiting for my MCAT which i am writing in July or will they use my MCAT scores from the previous year
