foobat Posted April 9, 2013 Report Share Posted April 9, 2013 The Aide financière aux études doesn't give out any bursaries or loans to Québecers studying medicine abroad. I tried giving Services Canada a call, and all the financial aid that they give out to students in Québec is given through the AFE. I'll be going to the Virginia Commonwealth University school of Medicine in August. Unfortunately, as I'm not an American citizen, I don't qualify for any financial aid or scholarships from them either. Does anybody have any ideas of where I could get some kind of financial aid? I'll be getting some loans from a Candian bank no matter what, but it would be nice to reduce as much as possible how much I borrow from them.
