Kiro2121
Thanks for any information you can give! 1. Do you need a full course load for any/all US med schools? If so, what is a full courseload? 2. Am I able to apply to the SAME medical school as a Canadian and US citizen? (I have dual citizenship) or is it by where I have my University Degree? 3. Is there a separate application route if I want to be a psychiatrist? I doubt there is, but just making sure. 4. I am from Uottawa, how does my GPA convert? Everyone keeps mentioning that there are two different ways to calculate your GPA. 5. What are the prerequisites? 2 ENG, 2 BIO, 2 CHM, 2 BCH/orgochem, 2 physics, 2 math, 2 humanities, are those right? Do I need labs for the chemistry and biology courses? Do I need 2 calcs and more math, or does 2 calc classes satisfy all math requirements. 6. Do they look at ALL your grades, or specific years? Thanks again! Kiro2121
5. For the vast majority schools, the prerequisites are a full year of: General chemistry Organic chemistry Biology Physics English I took 1 semester of general chemistry with lab 1 semester of organic chemistry with lab (1 semester without) 2 Semester of biology with lab I will be taking 2 physics with lab I have no Biochem courses, but I will be taking 2, but neither with a lab I don't believe. I have 2 Calculus, 2 Humanities, and will get 2 English. Are you saying I need to take another general chemistry and another organic chemistry both with labs. AND do biochemistry with labs too??!?
