Any weighting in American schools?

Recommended Posts

UofT undergrad here. I managed to butcher a semester in my undergrad. With this semester, I am anticipating a 3.57. Without it, a 3.74. Do U.S. schools have any special consideration? Almost a 0.2 drop from one semester :/ Thanks for reading and any input guys.

None of the schools (to my knowledge) has weighting. They look at your overall GPA and your BCPM (bio, chem, physics, math) GPA. That being said, they also look at GPA trends, so if you picked back up after that year it might not be such a big deal.
