Guest citrinez Posted June 23, 2006 Report Share Posted June 23, 2006 I'm just wondering if anyone has a general idea for the ranges and corresponding grades for the raw scores for the PS, BS, AND VR? I know that it depends on the curve, but is there are general range to go for in each section, if one's goal score is betweem 10-12 in each section? any replies would be really appreciated! Guest Melisende Posted June 23, 2006 Report Share Posted June 23, 2006 The conversion is dependant on the curve and on the difficulty of the particular test you are taking. A 70% could be a 11 or it could be a 9 (not that I am saying 70% will be a 9 or a 11). It completely depends on the test. I know for the Kaplan tests, they will give you a conversion chart and that usually works pretty well. My Kaplan practice score towards the end and my real MCAT score was pretty close.
