Guest lfc15
Hello, I am currently a 2nd year student and just wondering when the best time to take the MCAT is and if anyone has any advice for it. Cheers!
Guest arjuna83
Check the MCAT forum; lots of useful information there. For starters: I recommend the August sitting to take the test as you don't need to worry about final exams and have plenty of time to study (at the expense of a summer ofcourse!). For the sciences, you need to have a solid knowledge of physics, general and organic chemistry and biology (there's a trend towards an increase in molecular bio and bio-chemistry). First year courses in these subjects suffice. For the verbal reasoning and essay sections, people suggest analytical reasoning/english courses.
