naturevalley
Hi everyone, I am sorry of this isnt the right place to ask this but I just wanted an idea of what kind of american MD schools, if any, would I have a shot at with the following stats: UofT undergrad student MCAT: 35 (13PS, 9VR, 13BS) AMCAS GPA: 3.99 I ask because I realize their is significant emphasis on the MCAT and that the 9 in VR could filter me out of the majority of schools. I would like to know where I currently stand and whether or not attending an MD school in the states is an accessible option. Thanks!

DoubleA
American schools are actually the opposite of Canada, they care more for the science scores. A 9 isnt ideal but won't hurt you much. You'll be fine, just apply early.
advair250
You will be fine for US schools, a 35 score is a great score to be at. The 9 VR won't hurt you at all, 4.0 and 35 says it all. Make sure your ECs are at least average.
