NeuroBurgers
Unfortunately, it was only recently that I discovered the D.O. route was a possibility for Canadians. Is it too late to submit primaries? Would I have any sort of shot? 3.91 GPA, 32 MCAT (9 VR). Thanks guys
COMSA-premed
I would submit your primary application today or tomorrow, and get the verification process going. With your stats(very high), you should snag some interviews. Apply smart and make schools aware of your presence, since you are on the "late end", unless your primary is already submitted then you save about 6 weeks. Administrative things such as sending transcripts etc take time, so get to it. I would imagine you should get some Canadian interviews too, but that's a luck of the draw it seems. Check out the specific schools for deadlines for submissions, but realize that the rolling basis of the process means people have already been interviewed and accepted, but again your stats would theoretically put you near the top of the pile. Every school is different.
COMSA-premed
The caveat is that you should do your due diligence and research up the DO pathway, programs, schools and such to gets better idea of what it all entails. Feel free to PM me though if you still have questions.
