Andrew Ryan
Interviewed at BUSM in October. Overall, I liked the school. The staff was very friendly and the students there seemed happy. The interview day was pretty standard: breakfast, introductory presentation on their school, group conversation with a physician, lunch, tour, interview (morning or afternoon), and financial aid talk. It was a huge group on my interview day, 20ish people. The medical building was ok, nothing spectacular. There are, however, a lot of research and clinical opportunities. There will be only one interview, but you can request for another if there were any issues. My interviewer read my application very thoroughly, so be prepared. All the lectures at BUSM are recorded, which is awesome. I liked Boston, a lot of students, very young population, lots of bars and restaurants, but very expensive.
