Symbol Posted February 23, 2014 Report Share Posted February 23, 2014 Hi, I am trying to decide on what schools in the sates to apply to. I have a 33 on the mcat but I got a 8 in verbal. I also have a fairly high GPA. Any ideas of which medical schools in the states I would have a good chance at with my total mcat mark and being a Canadian? Thanks! The 33 MCAT is fine for all USMD schools that take internationals, you might be slightly below the avg for canadians at some, but ECs and well written PS will go a long way. I'm kind of new to using this forum and I thought it was more appropriate in this section since people who have applied/applying would look here. I couldn't find an updated list in that thread yet, but when I have some more time I will start going through some on the original list and research them.
