GGzucker
Hi guys, I am a Canadian registered for the July 12th MCAT. I'm in my third year now, and I'd like to apply to US this summer. But my GPA is only 3.42 now. I expect it to improve once this winter term is over and also I'll try hard during my 4th year. My ECs are not strong. I haven't done any psychology or sociology courses, and I'm already studying for the current MCAT. Do you think I should write the new MCAT (and apply next year) or stick with this MCAT? Also, will med schools require the new MCAT with its rollout? Thank you all in advance.
advair250
Just to clarify, weather or not you do well in 4th year won't help your case if you apply this year(which you definitely need a strong 4th year to help your case). See my other reply to you on the original post.
