sunday
hey guys, does anyone know approximately by when secondaries should be submitted and be considered early (not early decision, like early for the md program) other than "as soon as possible"? i should get most of my secondaries done before august which is way earlier than i did the first time i applied. what are your thoughts? Sit
I've heard that submitting the secondary within ~2 weeks (from when you received it) is what you should aim for. More than 3 weeks is applicant suicide, if you ask me.
duoduoa
Since they don't send out their interview invitation until late August, I'm assuming it's still ok. I'm in the same boat, just got my primary verified last night.

I'd say any application complete (secondaries, etc.) before August is early; ideally I'd say primary submitted in the first couple days and secondaries submitted within 2 weeks. More than 3 weeks is definitely not applicant suicide, though it's certainly inadvisable. I knew an applicant so sat on some secondaries for over a month, and still got a few interviews among those schools. Some application reviewers will make inferences based off the dates, some won't.
