myoon3
The Dalhousie online application requires that I indicate which of the 4 following options I'd like to use in my GPA calculation: Option A: Two most recent years of full time study prior to submitting an application Option B: Best 3 out of 4 years of full time study Option C: All course grades from graduate program in addition to two consecutive years from undergraduate degree, which much include at least one senior year Option D: All courses from a PhD program in addition to one senior year I'm currently a first year (going on to my second year) student in a thesis-based Master's program. My first year GPA is a 4.0, but I have taken just one course during this year. So essentially, my first year GPA = the grade I received in this one class. If I choose option C, will Dalhousie still use this grade as the sum of 'all course grades from graduate program', and average it with two consecutive years from my undergrad? Or does being in a research-based program/only one course in my first year somehow exempt me from choosing this option? My GPA is as follows: Year 1: 3.85 Year 2: 3.76 Year 3: 3.72 Year 4: 3.77 Thanks in advance everyone!
DucksDucksDucks
I doubt it will be that easy. Besides I am wondering if that makes much of a difference even if it does happen. Your 3 best years is 3.793, while g1+u2 is 3.827 (assuming your course gives you 1 credit). Don't they both get rounded to the nearst tenth and become 3.8 anyway?
