m_jacob_45
I got the same score as you (514), but got 129 in CARS. This was good enough to get me an interview at Mac with a cGPA a bit below 3.75. Just letting you know in case that clarifies things. I don't think I would rewrite in your situation if you have a high gpa. If your gpa is on the lower end, maybe...
BlackGoat
I got a perfect score on CARS (132, 517 overall). The rest of my stats are whatever, so this is what I'm most proud of haha I've got lots of advice for CARS. I've found the ExamKracker's method to be the most helpful. I've used all the prep company books and EK had the best and most concise strategy for tackling CARS. Do a ton of practice, get your hands on the old MCAT practice tests (the VR section is the exact same as CARS). Find all the prep companies' CARS practice passages, even do the Khan Academy practice passages. Doing as much practice as humanly possible will allow you to understand what types of questions will be thrown at you and eventually you will be able to simply recognize what a correct answer looks like. Finally, this one may be a bit of a longshot especially if you don't have much time, but try to read as much as you can. I personally love reading things like history, philosophy, any sort of scholarly works in the humanities. These are the sorts of passages you get on CARS so when I did the actual test I did not have any trouble comprehending any passage. It felt more like a quick article I was just reading for leisure.
