drexler
Hi, I had a question about going back to BC as a family doc. I have seen a lot of posts about people going back to Ontario after a US residency (Canadian citizens). However, I haven't been able to find anything on going back to BC after a FM residency in the US. Specifically, are will you be required to write the MCC exams? I see that on CPSO.ca, they list that those exams need to be done. However, the cpsbc.ca website doesn't really mention anything about the exams. Just wondering if anybody knew anything about that. My understanding at the moment is that you complete the ABFM exam, apply for registration in BC and you don't need to write the exams. Thanks! bearded frog
https://www.cpsbc.ca/files/pdf/REG-Full-Prov-GP.pdf Looks like you can sit the exams or get a supervisory licence then transition to full practice? You should contact the CPSBC directly.
