What are some common interview questions to have answers prepared for beforehand?

Know your CV, your experiences, be prepared to talk about what went well, what went wrong about them (things related to group work, achieving tasks, facing difficulties and failures, etc.) and you should be able to cover everything that you can actually prepare for. For pointers refer to the CanMeds, for structure the STARR technique helped me stay on topic, to the point. Don't practice too much. I did one Panel interview where I felt like I had prepared for "common" interview questions - none came up. If they do come up, you may sound too rehearsed, which is why I think it's better to think and practice talking about your experiences rather than specific questions.
