Guest tweep0
Hi gang, I know that UofT looks at the reference letters prior to interview selection. If I received an interview at UofT, does that automatically mean that my reference letters were okay? Is it safe to assume that my reference letters will not negatively affect the adcom's decision (to a large extent)? Thanks Tweep
Guest mydream88
Hi tweep0, it would be great to get a second opinion on this as I am not an expert, just a fellow interviewee, but I am sure that I could see what looked like my reference letters (I saw a letterhead from one of my referrees) sitting in an open file that the interviewers had with them at my interview. therefore, I think they have read these letters. I am not sure however, if they were used to determine our non-grade score. mydream88
Guest Adamanda
My interviewer mentioned one of my reference letters so they did have access to them prior to the interview.
