OTL123
Hello everyone, I understand that the forums are more for applicants, however, I was hoping to get some insights from people who are familiar with Ontario driver's licenses. I currently got a job offer as a community OT in ON and I only have a G2 so far. I was wondering if I can still take my patients in my car? (I understand that I can take people outside of my family once I have G2, but wasn't sure that'd be the case for patients) If anyone has any ideas, or who might be the appropriate person to contact to, please let me know :) Thank you. Ps. If this post needs to get deleted, let me know as well and I'll delete it ASAP.
Hopplah
This is a question for your insurance company ultimately. Your company won't allow you to transport clients without proper insurance.
OTL123
Hello, Thanks for the reply - so as long as I have my G2 and proper insurance, then there shouldn't be an issue taking my clients in my car?
Hopplah
Ah sorry I don't know. My community jobs have specified a G license, which I had. But I would bring up that you have checked with your insurance and that they will ensure you to carry clients as part of your job duties, on a G2.
