Summer courses and GPA calcluation

I recently sent an email to the folks at UC with three questions. They answered my first question but ignored the latter two (I'm not sure why). Anyways, what I wanted to know was: how do summer courses factor into the calculation of the GPA (if at all)?

Usually, courses taken during spring and summer sessions are not counted in the full-time study requirement nor the grade point average requirement but are considered by the admissions committee during the file review.

i think that if you are a coop student then your summer courses would be counted if you worked during the fall or spring....

Hehe, no worries, it sometimes takes me at least three or four clicks to find information on that site that I already know is there!
