Rahvin13
NSHA just officially put up a posting for 3 long term (3 year) PA positions in Orthopedics at the QEII, Dartmouth and Cobequid sites. They are the first PA positions available for the province, and are being used as a pilot project for the assessment and integration of PAs into the NSHA. I’m a RN at a regional hospital and I would love to see PAs utilized broadly throughout the province and think they could definitely be part of the answer to the health care issues especially in rural NS. https://jobs.nshealth.ca/nsha/job/Halifax-Physician-Assistant%2C-Orthopaedic-Surgery-and-Perioperative-Services-Nova-B3H-2Y9/536854017/ Above is a link to the posting on the NSHA website for anyone here interested in checking it out. eastcoastpt
medigeek
So you want to employ people with far less training to work in areas with the least resources and backup? Midlevel expansion is a huge issue in medicine.
