I saw some pictures from previous years orientations and although I'm not too sure about the jeans & t-shirt look, for the guys at least I saw a mix of either more formal shirt and ties to business casual. Dress comfortable...I'm not saying ripped jeans (you wear those to class soon enough...), but if you have a nice pair of jeans with a golf shirt, good t-shirt for guys and capri's and a t-shirt or button down that would be fine!
