CaseFiles
Hey all! Current medical student with rotations paused here and with a lot of spare time on my hands! Received 6 interviews across Canada back when I applied. For anyone browsing these forums who may be interested in applying to medical school I'm happy to have a chat and give some pointers on how to structure the next few year(s) and what is really important in the Canadian Admissions process, as it is something that would have benefitted me back in the day! Also happy to help anyone looking to strengthen their interviews or prep for interviews! Cheers
mcelik09
Hi, I'd love to ask you a few questions off the top of my head! (1) What was your undergrad and final GPA? (2) What EC's have you done to strengthen your application? (3) I'm personally leaning towards doing an undergrad in nursing, will that carry any negative connotation within the admission committee? (4) Should individuals doing a nursing undergrad still do EC's like volunteering? (5) What are some things that non-traditional applicants can do to strengthen their application? Thank you so much for sparing some time to help us out! It's greatly appreciated
