Guest breaker79
Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows how difficult it would be to play on a team at Queen's while we're in med school? Do you think that can be done? Do you think we'll have as much/more/less extra time as we did during our undergrad? Any advice would be great. breaker
Guest JC15
It definitely can be done...there was a guy in our class who played varsity hockey in first year. That being said, varsity sports are a huge time commitment...practices pretty much every day and games on the weekend. You would have to sacrifice a lot of other extracurricular involvement, and manage your time really well if you wanted to play. However, we don't ever have class past 4:30 (and rarely even goes until then), so it's not like class will interfere. If it's something you really want to do, I say go for it!
