Guest MedAnxiety
Hi, does anyone know when Queens hands out their scholarships/bursaries? As I recall during interview weekend, 1/3 of their students has their tuition paid for them, while the rest has atleast some sort of financial aid. Thanks in advance =)
Guest seedstrike
Hi, Bursaries are given out in the second semester sometime around january. I'm not sure if a third of our students are getting their entire tuitions paid. Most of us do get a lot of bursaries (e.g. i got around 6k this year). Some do get in the range of 10K or so but i don't think that's more than a few. Bursareies are given out in January so they don't affect your OSAP...or at least that's what I've heard. Guest shadowguitar
That's right, they don't affect OSAP. They are strategically given in January OSAP is based on what you (and/or your parents or spouse) earn during the 16 weeks prior to your study period, and what you (and/or your parents or spouse) will earn from Sept to Dec.
