ecurriculum means....we all have to buy a $3500 laptop at the beginning of our studies!!!

All of our coursenotes are online so makes taking notes easier and in thoery you wouldnt have to go to class if you didn`t want to. Problem is profs seem to "update" their presentations the night before and distribute the new presentation in class....so u still need to go to class.(although the new presentation does eventually get posted on the web)

There are a few quizzes online of every block.

Histology slides, pathology pics and anatomy pics are also online...and that is great for studying if you are too lazy to go to the lab, at least there is the online stuff.

We all have the same PBL software...so that is how we get our PBL cases. So for the cases, sometimes we can have things like echocardiograms, or heart and lung sounds included (nice to hear and see things).

That is pretty much all there is too it. The ecurriculum is a work in progress at this point.

Yea, basically the whole learning process is very electronically focused. The course notes are all online right from the beginning of the block, PBL is only online (no hand outs), all of our classrooms are either wired internet, wireless internet or both (great for MSN during class;) ). A lot of the powerpoint presentations come with videos of ECHOs (which you can't fully appreciate as a still picture), sounds, pictures, etc.
