Guest Wonderin
I'm wonderin'...... Western's policy of only figuring in your BEST undergrad year -- if you do relatively poorly in one of your other years (e.g. a couple of courses in the low 70's), would they frown upon that and figure it into the equation somehow? Or do they stick strictly to their 25% GPA (best year), 25% MCAT, 50% interview, and just make sure that your current year is above 3.6 or so? Guest UWOMED2005
As far as I know there is no penalty whatsoever for having a bad year - (other than a possible hit to your self-confidence that affects your interview performance - the interviewers WON'T see your transcripts so don't let that happen.)
