BashaLasha
Good day everyone! I am interested in medicine, but I am aware that entering medical school isn't guaranteed. For that reason, I am planning to take summer courses in order to fulfil prerequisites for grad schools. However, I am not sure if medical school even use it for credit. My question is this: what medical schools consider summer courses for credit? If that particular school does, then does it use it for (weighted) gpa calculation? Thank you in advance! bearded frog
I think most if not all will count summer courses as prereqs (note that many schools now don't have prereqs anymore), and will be part of your total GPA but some may not include them in weighted GPAs. You'll have to look at each schools weighting scheme to confirm.
