Guest Aplusdent
Ok so UT takes your best 3 years (including summer courses) and Western takes your best 2 years minus summer courses. I know Western waits for final marks after your final semester to determine acceptances. So it does include your entire 2 best years. However, UT gives out acceptances before the final semester is over (therefore no final grades), so are acceptances from UT actually based on your best 2.5 years? Thanks! Guest ahmad84
No, UT only bases acceptance on GPA's of the years that have been successfully completed, and will not look at the current year for any consideration as long as it meets the minimum requirment. Western will only look at the best 2 years regardless of how many years you have done, and they will take into consideration the current year of study if it accounts to give the highest GPA. Guest tamkhan1
westerns process is actually slightly more complicated. if you go through the 'UWO interview' thread you'll see plenty of stuff. for uoft, ive heard they drop one year's worth of lowest marks if you apply after 4th year. ive also heard that the lowest marks can not be in your final year. its either one whole year or one years worth of marks. im not sure.
