Guest iknowabc123
I took a summer school course at uoft scarborough and unfortunately i failed it It was organic chem if anybody is wondering I emailed uwo of whether or not they will look at the grade since it is a pre-req course..yet i took it in summer and from what i know summer school courses are not looked at. Their response was basically that the mark will not be taken into account..the only thing that will be taken into account is that fact that I completed the pre-req course. So in a sense that was a relief. Now my question is whether an F on my transcript will be a big turn off for admissions even though the course was taken in summer school? and if I take the course again and pull off an A (hopefully) it won't be much of a problem? thanks! sincerely - am i screwed? lol
Guest Dent08
Sounds strange but it's actually better that you failed the course rather than barely passed. You have more options that way. It most likely won't adversely affect you when applying to a lot of Canadian schools. Are you capable of getting an A in a course you just failed? Work you ass off!
