Guest Bug2ooth
Hello, I was just wondering, do the various dental schools have a conversion chart for grades depending on what school you come from. I know med school uses the omsas scale and the scale converts your marks depending on waht school u come from i.e. uft, yock, waterloo etc. Is there such a thing with dental school. Or a 3.7 from uft is the same as a 3.7 from another university?
Guest shesallDAT
I believe that UWO also uses the OMSAS scale for Dentistry, but I'm not sure. Thus, your GPA according to Western would be affected by what school you're from. I'm not sure about other schools but I know they all have their own particular ways of ranking (eg, taking best two years). Also, U of A considers A's and A+'s to rank the same in their conversions (both = 4.0). Hope that helps!
