MD AIDE - Free Medical School Application Guidance and Support

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

Are you looking for support and guidance with medical school applications? Are you facing financial barriers or are from underrepresented groups (ex: First Nations/Métis/Inuit, Black, persons of colour, recent immigrants, 2SLGBTQ+ and persons living with disabilities)?

MD AIDE (MD Admissions Initiative for Diversity and Equity) is the perfect program for you! MD AIDE is supported by the MD Program at the University of Alberta, and is organized and run by current UofA medical students. Successful applicants will have access to FREE:

1) MCAT prep (including official AAMC practice questions and full-length practice tests)
2) Medical school interview prep
3) Mentorship program with a current medical student

This initiative is open to anyone currently or previously enrolled in any program at any post-secondary institution in Alberta. All interested individuals are encouraged to apply, even if they are unsure about their eligibility for this program!

Applications close February 28, 2023.
