europeandude99 Posted June 17, 2023 Report Share Posted June 17, 2023 I was fortunate enough to get an acceptance this cycle at ubc with the first round of invites at a location other than my first choice. I’ve seen people on the waitlist document saying that they got a waitlist offer first to a lower ranked position, then another offer to a higher ranked position a week later. Shouldn’t my rank to be offered a first choice location be higher up than people who got an acceptance off the waitlist? Or does switching happen for people only ont e waitlist? (Although i know of people who got first round invites getting offered first choice positions too a few weeks later) I also didn’t apply thru the rural stream Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
