Does UBC post the GPAs they calculate for applicants before interview decisions are released?

Recommended Posts

Hi all! Applied to UBC this year and I'm wondering whether we get to see our UBC-calculated GPA in the portal prior to interview decisions being made? For example, when applying in the US through AMCAS, you get to see your verified GPA and credit totals, and if there's an error you'd be able to ask for a re-evaluation even before schools review your application.

I ask because part of my academic work was at a school with an atypical credit/grading system. So when my AMCAS application was verified there was a calculation error that majorly undercounted my credits. In that case, I reached out and they corrected it, but I'm not sure if I'd have such an opportunity at UBC. I'm debating reaching out to the admissions office as I know they're very busy with emails & calls.

Thanks in advance for any information you're able to share!
