Laura1
I was wondering where I can look for medical research opportunities as a CEGEP student in Montreal. I know a lot of people find some in Instituts of Cardiology and neurology, but how where should I look for the oppurtunities online? Do you have any advice on applying? Saa
Online you could look at the ircm, inrs, crir websites and try to apply to the summer programs. Sometimes there’s stuff on indeed too. i highly recommend directly emailing university profs just write a short email about your interest and attach your cv. Dont get discouraged just try contacting as many as you can in different fields. I remember my prof actually asked his lab crew if any of them had space to train a cegep student so they actually do read your emails! finally, some cegep profs do research or know people who do research but they are low key about it. Highly recommend showing interest and asking them too!
