Guest Gedz1
Hello all I am currently in my 4th year of mechanical engineering, and plan on applying to med school in the fall. Unfortunetly my average gpa comes out pretty low on the omsas scale and i suspect i wont make cut-offs and will have to apply again the following year. Next year, I plan on returning to school as a post degree student in order to fulfill pre-req requirements. My question is: -Should I take a bunch of easy correspondence courses on top of the pre-reqs in order to get a full course load and boost my gpa incase i have to re-apply? -Will schools still take this year into account even though i will have finished my degree program? I already know that im screwed for Western because i only have one year above 3.7 and it is impossible for me to take 3rd year level courses next year.
