Guest CHUBBY
Hello, As an out of province student applying to Canadian medical schools I need to take a full-year English course. Although I never took this course in my undergrad. For those who have taken this in the past does anyone have any suggestions as to which English course I should consider taking(ie either evening or distance ed course) that will satisfy the requrements. Thanks Chubby
Guest aneliz
It would help if you told us what med school(s) you are hoping to apply to and what school(s) you are considering for the English course. Every school is a little bit different... Generally, most med schools will accept any university level English course as acceptable to meet their pre-req.... but some have more stringent requirements (like specifying that it must be an English lit course). You need to check out the specifics with the schools that you are interested in applying too to be sure.
