Canadian Health Care system

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm a second year undergraduate premed....but I completely confess my ignorance of how the Canadian health care system works. Can anyone please give me a general overview / answer a few of my basic questions:

1) Briefly, how are the health care systems different among the provinces?

2) What are the main issues troubling the country's health system?

3) What are some troubles specific to the Ontario system and the BC system? What are some advantages of their own systems?

If no one really has time to answer these all, please at least give me some websites where I can do some reading up.

Thank you very much!

<title>Spadina & College room/apt for rent...</title>

<pagetext>Hello,

I -may- be seeking a roomate to rent the basement in my house. The house is under mega-renovations, but when done will be quite nice. The room will be available for May or maybe later for the right person. This will NOT be a long-term thing....I can't commit indefinitely....(ie. a yr or two) but if all goes well...ya never know...

I am seeking a QUIET & (hopefully) mostly absent roomie.....if you are doing your residency & would be mostly away...but want a close quiet place to go home to...lets chat!!!

YOU get your own washroom & even a private entrance (but you can use the main one)....but the ceiling is low - so only short people need apply (its under 6' and under 5'6" at the bulk head)....wierd - I know... but it has a BIG window and lotsa privacy!!! I think Females are preferred, but a male may be considered.

I am a Canadian SWF with a small non-shedding dog. I have invested in some serious renovations - so only considerate & CLEAN people need bother to apply.

reply to DTGIRL2001@hotmail.com with details about you....and I will get back to you.
