Guest kosmo14
Very tough to compare schools when none of us have attended both (I will give my opinion on UofS): UofS strengths: great clinical experience, early clinical exposure, small class size (you never get lost in the crowd), probation has made the college fairly proactive and should remain so for years to come, great student diversity, fantastic office staff and mostly caring faculty, small city easy to get around, student run interdic. inner city clinic, students do well nationally (most of us get the residency we want) UofS weaknesses: small class size (everybody knows everyone else sometimes too well), horrendous library, probation (always hang over like a cloud), research is not a strength at UofS, facilities are old, resources are not up to the level of other schools (schulich, mac, to etc...), poor financial support from the university (ie/ weak bursary program), high tuition level This is my perspective, hope it helps.
